1. Introduktion
Denne privatlivspolitik beskriver, hvordan Havørred Logbog ("appen", "vi", "os") indsamler, bruger og beskytter dine personlige oplysninger. Appen er en fiskerilogbog til havørredfiskere, der tracker ture med GPS, logger fangster og viser vejr- og havdata.
3. Hvilke data indsamler vi
Kontooplysninger
E-mailadresse bruges til login og kontogendannelse via Firebase Authentication. Adgangskode håndteres af Firebase Auth (vi har ikke adgang til din adgangskode i klartekst).
Lokationsdata
GPS-positioner optages KUN under aktive fisketure, og kun når du selv starter tracking. Baggrundslokation bruges kun mens en tur er aktiv. GPS-koordinater optages ca. hvert par sekunder under aktive ture.
Brugerindhold
Fotos (fangstfotos + agn-billeder), fangstdata (vægt, længde, tidspunkt, agn/flue, noter, GPS-koordinat), turdata (GPS-rute, varighed, distance, antal fisk, hændelser) og spots (navn, koordinater, kystretning, noter).
Vejrdata
Hentes automatisk fra Open-Meteo API (DMI HARMONIE 2km model) ud fra din position. Data inkluderer: temperatur, vind, vindstød, fugtighed, tryk, skydække, nedbør, bølger, vandtemperatur, vandstand, havstrøm og salinitet.
Push-notifikationer
Enheds push-token (Expo) gemmes for at sende smarte vejr-alerts. Enhedsoplysninger (platform, enheds-ID, enhedsnavn) og fangstprofil-data bruges til at matche vejrforhold mod dine historiske fangster.
Supporthenvendelser
Når du bruger support-formularen, sendes din e-mailadresse og din besked til vores support-system. Disse data bruges udelukkende til at besvare din henvendelse.
4. Enhedstilladelser
For at oprette en konto kræves en e-mailadresse. Øvrige tilladelser er valgfrie — appen fungerer uden dem, men visse funktioner kræver de relevante tilladelser.
- Lokation (forgrund + baggrund) — Vise din position på kortet og tracke fisketur. Baggrund kun under aktiv tur.
- Kamera — Tag billeder af fangster direkte fra appen
- Fotobibliotek — Vælg eksisterende billeder af fangster
- Mikrofon — Valgfrit, kun ved videooptagelse med kamera (iOS)
- Push-notifikationer — Modtag smarte vejr-alerts baseret på fangstmønster
5. Hvordan bruger vi data
- Logge og vise dine fangster og fisketure
- Vise vejrforhold på fangsttidspunktet
- Vise dine ture på kort
- Synkronisere dine data på tværs af enheder
- Analysere dit fiskemønster for at sende relevante vejr-alerts
- Generere statistik og personlige rekorder
- Besvare supporthenvendelser
Vi behandler dine oplysninger på følgende retsgrundlag efter databeskyttelsesforordningen (GDPR art. 6):
- Levere appens funktioner og gemme/vise dine ture, fangster, spots og statistik — opfyldelse af aftale (art. 6(1)(b)).
- Sende dig vejr-alerts og notifikationer — dit samtykke (art. 6(1)(a)), som du kan trække tilbage.
- Besvare supporthenvendelser samt drifte, fejlrette og sikre appen — vores legitime interesse (art. 6(1)(f)).
6. Tredjepartstjenester
Vi sælger eller deler ALDRIG dine data med tredjepart.
Vi bruger følgende tjenester til at drifte appen:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) — Brugerlogin
- Firebase Firestore (Google) — Database for brugerdata
- Firebase Storage (Google) — Billedlagring
- Firebase Cloud Functions (Google) — Vejr-proxy og alerts
- Google Maps — Kortvisning
- Open-Meteo API — Vejrdata (DMI HARMONIE-model)
- DMI API — Salinitet og stationsdata
- Expo Push Service — Push-notifikationer
- Apple Push / Google FCM — Underliggende levering af push-beskeder
Alle disse tjenester har deres egne privatlivspolitikker.
7. Dataopbevaring og overførsel
Dine data gemmes sikkert i Firebase (Google Cloud). Data opbevares, så længe du har en aktiv konto, og slettes når du sletter dine data eller din konto.
Nogle leverandører — herunder dele af Google Firebases og Expos infrastruktur — samt visse af vores egne backend-funktioner (bl.a. vejr-alerts og data-proxyer) behandler data på servere i USA. Overførsler til lande uden for EU/EØS sker på grundlag af EU-Kommissionens standardkontraktbestemmelser (SCC) og/eller andre gyldige overførselsgrundlag fra leverandørerne.
8. Datasikkerhed
- Krypteret forbindelse (HTTPS/TLS) for al datatrafik
- Sikker autentificering via Firebase Auth
- Adgangskontrol til database (bruger kan kun tilgå egne data)
- Adgangskoder håndteres af Firebase — vi har ikke adgang til dem i klartekst
9. Analyse og sporing
Vi bruger INGEN analytics-, sporing- eller crash-rapporteringsværktøjer. Der er ingen Sentry, Crashlytics, Mixpanel, PostHog eller lignende tjenester integreret i appen.
10. Dine rettigheder (GDPR)
Du har ret til at:
- Få adgang til dine data
- Rette forkerte oplysninger
- Slette din konto og alle data
- Eksportere dine data (PDF-rapport tilgængelig i appen)
- Trække samtykke tilbage for specifikke tilladelser via enhedens indstillinger

11. Kontosletning
Du kan slette din konto via appen (Indstillinger → "Slet konto") eller via hjemmesiden. Når du sletter din konto, fjernes alle dine personlige oplysninger permanent:
- Fangster og tilhørende billeder
- Ture og GPS-ruter
- Gemte spots
- Push-tokens og alert-historik
- Fangstprofil og vejr-alert indstillinger
- Sæsonmål
Denne handling kan ikke fortrydes.
12. Børn
Appen er ikke rettet mod børn under 13 år. Vi indsamler ikke bevidst data fra børn.
13. Ændringer
Vi kan opdatere denne politik. Væsentlige ændringer vil blive meddelt i appen.
14. Hjemmesiden (havorredlogbog.dk)
Hjemmesiden er en informationsside for appen og indsamler kun data i følgende tilfælde:
- Kontaktformular — Når du indsender en besked via kontaktformularen, indsamler vi din e-mailadresse og besked udelukkende for at besvare din henvendelse.
- Google Fonts — Hjemmesiden indlæser skrifttyper fra Google Fonts, hvilket kan medføre at din IP-adresse sendes til Google.
Hjemmesiden bruger ingen cookies, analytics eller sporingsteknologier.
1. Introduction
This privacy policy describes how Havørred Logbog ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information. The app is a fishing log for sea trout anglers that tracks trips with GPS, logs catches and displays weather and sea data.
3. What data do we collect
Account information
Email address used for login and account recovery via Firebase Authentication. Password is handled by Firebase Auth (we do not have access to your password in plain text).
Location data
GPS positions are recorded ONLY during active fishing trips, and only when you manually start tracking. Background location is only used while a trip is active. GPS coordinates are recorded approximately every few seconds during active trips.
User content
Photos (catch photos + bait images), catch data (weight, length, time, bait/fly, notes, GPS coordinate), trip data (GPS route, duration, distance, fish count, events) and spots (name, coordinates, coast direction, notes).
Weather data
Fetched automatically from Open-Meteo API (DMI HARMONIE 2km model) based on your position. Data includes: temperature, wind, gusts, humidity, pressure, cloud cover, precipitation, waves, water temperature, water level, sea current and salinity.
Push notifications
Device push token (Expo) is stored to send smart weather alerts. Device information (platform, device ID, device name) and catch profile data are used to match weather conditions against your historical catches.
Support enquiries
When you use the support form, your email address and message are sent to our support system. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
4. Device permissions
An email address is required to create an account. Other permissions are optional — the app works without them, but certain features require the relevant permissions.
- Location (foreground + background) — Show your position on the map and track fishing trips. Background only during active trips.
- Camera — Take photos of catches directly from the app
- Photo library — Select existing photos of catches
- Microphone — Optional, only for video recording with camera (iOS)
- Push notifications — Receive smart weather alerts based on catch patterns
5. How we use data
- Log and display your catches and fishing trips
- Show weather conditions at the time of catch
- Display your trips on maps
- Sync your data across devices
- Analyze your fishing patterns to send relevant weather alerts
- Generate statistics and personal records
- Respond to support enquiries
We process your data on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Article 6):
- Provide the app's features and store/display your trips, catches, spots and statistics — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Send you weather alerts and notifications — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw.
- Respond to support enquiries and operate, debug and secure the app — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
6. Third-party services
We NEVER sell or share your data with third parties.
We use the following services to operate the app:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) — User login
- Firebase Firestore (Google) — User data database
- Firebase Storage (Google) — Image storage
- Firebase Cloud Functions (Google) — Weather proxy and alerts
- Google Maps — Map display
- Open-Meteo API — Weather data (DMI HARMONIE model)
- DMI API — Salinity and station data
- Expo Push Service — Push notifications
- Apple Push / Google FCM — Underlying delivery of push messages
All these services have their own privacy policies.
7. Data storage and transfers
Your data is stored securely in Firebase (Google Cloud). Data is retained as long as you have an active account, and is deleted when you delete your data or your account.
Some providers — including parts of Google Firebase's and Expo's infrastructure — as well as certain of our own backend functions (e.g. weather alerts and data proxies) process data on servers in the United States. Transfers to countries outside the EU/EEA are made on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and/or other valid transfer mechanisms from the providers.
8. Data security
- Encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) for all data traffic
- Secure authentication via Firebase Auth
- Database access control (users can only access their own data)
- Passwords are handled by Firebase — we do not have access to them in plain text
9. Analytics and tracking
We use NO analytics, tracking or crash reporting tools. There is no Sentry, Crashlytics, Mixpanel, PostHog or similar services integrated in the app.
10. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access your data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and all data
- Export your data (PDF report available in the app)
- Withdraw consent for specific permissions via device settings
If you are dissatisfied with our processing of your personal data, you can lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, www.datatilsynet.dk. If you live in another EU/EEA country, you may also complain to the supervisory authority in your own country.
11. Account deletion
You can delete your account via the app (Settings → "Delete account") or via the website. When you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently removed:
- Catches and associated photos
- Trips and GPS routes
- Saved spots
- Push tokens and alert history
- Catch profile and weather alert settings
- Season goals
This action cannot be undone.
12. Children
This app is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated in the app.
14. Website (havorredlogbog.dk)
The website is an information page for the app and only collects data in the following cases:
- Contact form — When you submit a message via the contact form, we collect your email address and message solely to respond to your enquiry.
- Google Fonts — The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may cause your IP address to be sent to Google.
The website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking technologies.
